Minimum Educational Qualifications:
i) Un-Armed Branch: H.S. or Class XII passed from Govt. recognized Board or Council for the post of Constable, Unarmed Branch, District Executive Force (DEF).
ii) Armed Branch: H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from Govt. recognized Board or Council for the post of constable of Armed Branch.
Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam and must have registered his/her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Candidates must meet the prescribed Physical Standards. See detailed notification (link given below).
Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): 18 – 25 years as on 01/07/2021.

Candidates’ Selection: Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respect will have to undergo the Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET).
