COMBINED COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION, 2018
No. of Vacancies to be filled: 165 Nos. (OC-90, OBC/MOBC-37, SC-15, STP-13, STH-10. Out of the total posts, 47 posts are reserved for Women and 06 posts are reserved for PWD candidates)

i) Assam Civil Service (Jr.Grade): 43 posts
ii) Assam Land & Revenue Service (Jr. grade): 56 posts
iii) Assam Police Service (Jr.Grade): 08 posts
iv) Superintendent of Taxes: 10 posts
v) Superintendent of Excise: 01 post
vi) Assistant Employment Officer: 02 posts
vii) Labour Inspector: 10 posts
viii) Inspector of Taxes: 32 posts
ix) Inspector of Excise: 03 posts
Educational Qualification: Candidate must hold a Degree or equivalent qualification from any recognized University/ Institute.
Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examination are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 38 years as on 01.01.2018.
On the basis of the Combined Competitive Examination, 2018 the candidates will be selected for various Services/ Posts mentioned above.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Combined Competitive Examination-2018 which consists of two successive stages:- (i) The Preliminary Examination and (ii) The Main Examination (written & interview). The Preliminary Examination will be held in various centres in Assam. The Main Examination will be held in Guwahati only.
The Preliminary Examination is tentatively scheduled to be held in the month of July, 2018.
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) — http://www.apsc.nic.in

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.250/- ( Rs.150/- for SC/ST/MOBC/OBC) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Treasury Challan.
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF PWD/ CANDIDATES HAVING BPL CERTIFICATE.
