1. ASSISTANT COMMANDANTS (GROUP A)
No. of Vacancies: 323 Nos. (Tentative)
Central Armed Police Force (CAPF):
(i) Border Security Force(BSF) – 100 Posts,
(ii) Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) – 108 Posts,
(iii) Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) – 28 Posts,
(iv) Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) – 21 Posts,
(v) Shasastra Seema Bal (SSB) – 66 Posts.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University/ Institution or possess an equivalent qualification.
Note:-
i) Candidates who have appeared at a qualifying exam but have not been informed of the results/ candidates who intend to appear at such a qualifying exam in the year 2019 will also be eligible to apply.
ii) Candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications which are recognised by Government as equivalent to professional and technical degree are also eligible to apply.
Desirable: Possession of NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate will be a desirable qualification.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and below 25 years as on 01/08/2019.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 165 cm; Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cm; Chest (expanded) — 86 cm; Weight — 50 kg.
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 cm; Weight — 46 kg.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. For more details please see the Official Advt.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination, Physical Standard/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Standard Test and Interview/ Personality Test. The Written Examination will be held on 18th August, 2019. The Examination will be held at various centres across India. For more details please see the Official Advt.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.200/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF FEMALE/SC/ST CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
