ASSISTANT ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 58 Nos. (OM-40, RBA-06, SC-05, ST-06, ALC-01)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant branch of Engineering of AMIE Section (A&B) India in the appropriate branch of Engineering.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.50700-160600/-
The vacancies are in Power Development Department. Only candidates who are permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir State are eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC and 02 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.800/- (Rs.400/- for Reserved Categories) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF PHC CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies on plain A4 size paper. One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and the other copy is to be send along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), at the below given address so as to reach on or before 30.05.2019.
