1. ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN IN GOVERNMENT ORIENTAL MANUSCRIPTS LIBRARY AND RESEARCH CENTRE

Educational Qualification: A Degree of M.A. or B.A.(Hons) in Sanskrit of any recognised University/ Institution.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years (No Maximum Age limit for SC/ST, MBC/DC, BC, BCM and DW) as on 01.07.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/-
2. JUNIOR EPIGRAPHIST IN ARCHAEOLOGY DEPARTMENT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. ((SC)(A)(W)(PSTM))
Educational Qualification: A Degree of B.A. in Tamil or B.Litt (Tamil) of any recognised University/ Institution.
Candidates professing ‘Hindu Religion’ are only eligible to apply for the post of Junior Epigraphist.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years (No Maximum Age limit for SC/ST, MBC/DC, BC, BCM and DW) as on 01.07.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/-
Note: Candidates should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for PWD category and Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Oral Test. The Examination will be held at the following centres- Chennai, Madurai and Coimbatore. The Written Examination will be conducted on 23/12/2018. Oral Test will be held tentatively in the month of April, 2019.
