1. ASSISTANT MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTOR
No. of Vacancies: 23 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
i) Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering of a recognized University/ Institution or any equivalent qualification.
OR
Diploma in Automobile Engineering issued by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh or Technological Diploma Examination Board, Hyderabad or Any other equivalent qualification.
ii) Must hold a Motor Driving License and have experience in driving motor vehicles for a period of not less than 03 years and possess Heavy Transport vehicle endorsement.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 34 years as on 01.07.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.31,460 – 84,970/-
The vacancies are in Andhra Pradesh Transport Subordinate Service.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than Andhra Pradesh shall be treated as General Candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/BC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 165 Cms (160 Cms for SC/ST and Aboriginal Tribes); Chest (unexpanded) — 81.3 Cms (78.8 Cms for SC/ST and Aboriginal Tribes); Chest (expanded) — 86.3 Cms (83.80 Cms for SC/ST and Aboriginal Tribes)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157.5 Cms (152.5 Cms for SC/ST and Aboriginal Tribes); Chest — 77.3 Cms (74.8 Cms for SC/ST and Aboriginal Tribes); Chest (expanded) — 82.30 Cms (79.80 Cms for SC/ST and Aboriginal Tribes)
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Screening Test and Computer Based Main Examination. The Main Examination is likely to be held on 17/04/2019.
