Health & Family Welfare Department, West Bengal is inviting application from the eligible candidates for two years Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM) course in order to recruit 460 ANM vacancies for Urban Public Health Centres (UPHC) of the Urban Local Bodies (ULB) under National Urban Health Mission (NUHM). The candidates will undergo two years Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM) training course and on successful completion of the training, candidates will be engaged as Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) in respective Urban Local Bodies (ULB). Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (See PDF below) along with testimonials. Educational Qualification:

i) Higher Secondary (10+2) from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination passed from any recognized Council/ Board.
i) The candidate should be a permanent resident of the particular ULB for which she will be selected.
ii) The candidate should be a Married or Divorced or Widowed Woman.

 

NOTE: Only Female candidates are eligible to apply.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 25 years and maximum 35 years as on 01/01/2019. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/PH and 03 years for OBC category.

The selected candidates will undergo two years Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM) training course for Urban Public Health Centres (UPHC) of the Urban Local Bodies (ULB) under National Urban Health Mission (NUHM). On successful completion of training, the candidates will be engaged as Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) in the respective Urban Local Bodies (ULB). Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in Educational Qualification.
