PROBATIONARY OFFICER – JUNIOR MANAGEMENT GRADE SCALE-I THROUGH POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN BANKING AND FINANCE (PGDBF) COURSE
No. of Vacancies: 450 Nos. (Gen-227, OBC- 121, SC-67, ST-35, PWD-18)
Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) course is of one year duration and will be conducted either at Manipal Global Education Services Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru campus or NITTE Education International Pvt Ltd. Mangaluru campus. See official advertisement for course details.
Educational Qualification: Degree (Graduation) with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWBD) or equivalent grade, in any discipline from a University recognised by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Knowledge of Computer and Hindi is required. Candidate who do not posses computer knowledge may the acquire the same within 6 months from the date of joining the Bank.
Age Limit: Minimum – 20 years and maximum – 30 years as on 01.01.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.23700 – Rs.42020
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Online Test / Group Discussion / Personal Interview. Online Test will be held on 04.03.2018 at the various centre across the country.
On Successful completion of this course Canara Bank will offer appointment to the candidates in Bank as Probationary Officer in Junior Management Grade Scale-I will be on probationary period for a period of 2 years.
