Eligibility Criteria

General Requirements

• Officers from Central/State Governments, Union Territories, PSUs, or recognized research institutions/universities.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

1. Additional Drugs Controller:
   • Essential: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering/science disciplines.
   • Experience: 14 years (Master’s) / 16 years (Bachelor’s) in manufacturing/testing/regulation/design of medical devices.
   • Desirable: PhD in the relevant field.
2. Joint Drugs Controller:
   • Essential: Similar to Additional Drugs Controller but requires 12 years (Master’s) / 14 years (Bachelor’s) experience.
3. Deputy Drugs Controller:
   • Essential: Similar qualifications with 8 years (Master’s) / 10 years (Bachelor’s) experience.

• Maximum age: 56 years (as of the application closing date).
