Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is inviting application from the eligible male candidates for 447 posts of Constable/ Driver and Constable/ Driver-cum-Pump Operator (Driver for Fire Service). CENTRAL INDUSTRIAL SECURITY FORCE (CISF) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 447 POSTS OF CONSTABLE/ DRIVER AND CONSTABLE/ DRIVER-CUM-PUMP OPERATOR (DRIVER FOR FIRE SERVICE). LAST DATE — 19.03.2018

 

1. CONSTABLE/ DRIVER: 344 posts (UR-176, SC-51, ST-25, OBC-92. Out of the total posts 34 posts are reserved for ESM)

2. CONSTABLE/ DRIVER-CUM-PUMP OPERATOR (DRIVER FOR FIRE SERVICE): 103 posts (UR-54, SC-15, ST-07, OBC-27. Out of the total posts 10 posts are reserved for ESM).

 

Educational Qualification:

(i) Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board.

(ii) Candidate should have a valid driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle, Light Motor Vehicle and Motor Cycle with gear.

 

Experience:
Three years experience of driving Heavy Motor Vehicle/ Transport Vehicle or Light Motor Vehicle and Motor Cycle with gear.

 

Age Limit:Between 21 years and 27 years as on 19.03.2017.

 

Pay Scale: 5200- Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.2000/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 167 cm (160 cms for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 80 cms (76 cms for ST); Chest (expanded) — 85 cms (81 cms for ST)

Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Height Bar Test (HBT), Physical Endurance Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Documentation, Trade Test, Written Test and Medical Examination.
