1. ENGLISH STENOGRAPHER (GROUP – B)
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos. (UR-03, SC-02)
Educational Qualification: i) Must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized Board.
ii) At least a certificate in Computer Training from a recognized institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in Computer operation.
iii) Minimum speed @ 80 W.P.M. in shorthand and a minimum speed @ 30 W.P.M. in typewriting from a legible manuscript in English for 10 minutes.
iv) Knowledge in type-writing in English are required.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 39 years as on 01.01.2018
Pay Scale: Rs.7100-37,600/- with Grade Pay Rs.3900/-
2. LOWER DIVISION ASSISTANT (GROUP – C)
No. of Vacancies: 13 Nos. (UR-06, SC-04, ST-01, OBC-02)
Educational Qualification: i) Must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized Board.
ii) At least a certificate in Computer Training from any recognized institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in computer operation.
iii) Knowledge in type-writing in English is preferable.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2018
Pay Scale: Rs.5,400-25,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2600/-
3. PEON / PROCESS SERVER / VISTI / NIGHT GUARD / FARASH / WARRANT BALIFF
No. of Vacancies: 30 Nos.
i) Peon: 21 posts (UR-11, SC-05, ST-01, OBC-04)
ii) Process Server: 03 posts (UR-01, ST-01, OBC-01)
iii) Warrant Baliff: 02 posts (UR-01, SC-01)
iv) Visti: 02 posts (UR-01, ST-01)
v) Farash: 01 post (OBC)
vi) Night Guard: 01 post (UR)
Educational Qualification: Must have Class-VIII pass certificate from any recognized school or Madrasah or any other recognized Institution.
In addition, for the post of Night Guard, the candidates should be sound health, good physique and free from any organic defect and bodily infirmity.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2018
Pay Scale: For Process Server: Rs.5400-25,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2300/-. For other posts: Rs. 4,900-16,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1700/-
4. SWEEPER (GROUP – D)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: i) Must have Class-VIII pass certificate from any recognized school or Madrasah or any other recognized Institution.
ii) The candidates must have ability to read and write Bengali.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2018
Pay Scale: Rs. 4,900-16,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1700/-
The posts are purely Temporary but is likely to be made Permanent.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Reserved Category candidates of other States will be treated as General (UR) Candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination, Typing Test, Personality Test and Interview wherever applicable.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.400/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST/PWD) for the post of English Stenographer and Lower Division Clerk and Rs.300/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ST/PWD) for rest of the posts as Application Fee.
