HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 352 POSTS OF CLERK. LAST DATE — 07/02/2019

No. of Vacancies: 352 Nos. (Gen-183, SC/ST-60, BC-69, PHC-01, ESM-39)
Educational Qualification:
i) Should possess a Degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent thereto from a recognized University.
ii) Should have passed Matriculation Examination with Hindi as one of the subject.
iii) Must have proficiency in operation of Computers (word processing and spread sheets).
Note: The candidate who is possessing the degree of Graduation from any stream i.e. Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer or equivalent thereto is eligible.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 42 years as on 01/01/2019.
The vacancies are in the Subordinate Courts of Haryana.
Reserved Category candidates from the States other than Haryana shall be treated as General Candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/BC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Computer Proficiency Test. The examination is likely to be conducted in the month of April 2019 or May 2019. The Written examination and Computer Proficiency Test can be conducted anywhere in the State of Punjab, Haryana and U.T Chandigarh.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.750/- (Rs.375/- for General Category Female candidates, Rs.200/- for Male SC/ST/BC/ESM Category candidates & Rs.100/- for Female SC/ST/BC/ESM Category candidates) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh. How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh — www.sssc.gov.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 07/01/2019 to 07/02/2019.
The Online Registration of application forms consist of two steps namely Registration Step I & Registration Step II. The candidates should register for Step I from 07/01/2019 upto 04/02/2019 till 11:59 P.M. Thereafter, the candidates who completes Step-I registration should go to Bank for depositing fee. The fee can be deposited till 06/02/2019 within Banking Hours only. After depositing the fee, the last date for completing the registration Step-II is 07/02/2019 upto 11:59 P.M.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
