CENTRAL ORDNANCE DEPOT, JABALPUR INVITES APPLICATION FOR 20 POSTS OF LDC, FIREMAN, MAZDOOR, ETC. LAST DATE — 19/06/2015
1. LDC: 05 Nos. (Gen—04 & ST—01)
Educational Qualification: Class 12th passed or equivalent with minimum typing speed of 35wpm in English or 30wpm in Hindi on Computer.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.
2. Fireman: 02 Nos. (SC)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and must be physically fit.
Physically Test: (i) Height—165cms (ii) Chest —81.5cm/85cms (unexpanded/expanded) (iii) Weight—50kgs.
Endurance Test: (i) Carrying a man (Fireman lift of 63.5Kgs to a distance of 183 Mts within 96 Seconds). (ii) Clearing 2.7 Mts wide ditch landing on both feet (long jump). (iii) Climbing 3 Mts vertical rope using hands and feet.
Note: 2.5 relaxations in Height and Chest for ST candidates.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.
3. Packer: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.
4. Mazdoor: 05 Nos. (ST—04 & OBC—01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month.
5. Cook (Canteen): 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and have knowledge of basic principles of Indian Cookery and experience in Cooking.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.
6. Vendor (Canteen): 04 Nos. (Gen—01; ST—02 & OBC—01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with 6 months experience in Trade.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month.
7. Viewer: 01 Nos. (SC)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.
8. Gardner: 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with 1 year experience in respective trade.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month.
Age Limit (for all posts): 18 to 25 years as on the closing date for receipt of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; and Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Physical Test (wherever applicable), Skill Test and Personal Interview.
Written Examination will be of objective type consist of – (i) General Knowledge, (ii) Arithmetic, (iii) Reasoning and (iv) English Essay writing.
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
