COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES EXAMINATION – 2019
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.
Age Limit: Below 32 years as on 01/08/2019.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting Combined Medical Services Examination – 2019. On the basis of the result of the examination candidates will be selected for recruitment to the services and posts mentioned:-
Total vacancies: 965 Posts
(i) Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways: 300 posts
(ii) Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services: 46 posts
(iii) Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services: 250 posts
(iv) General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council: 07 posts
(v) General Duty Medical Gr.-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation: 362 posts
Note: A candidate who has appeared or has yet to appear at the final M.B.B.S. Examination may also apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Examination and Interview/ Personality Test. The Examination will be conducted on 21st July, 2019. The Examination will be held at various centres across India. For details please see the Official Advt.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs. 200/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). See released advertisement for more details.
NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF FEMALE/SC/ST/PWBD CANDIDATES.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) — https://upsc.gov.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 10.04.2019 to 06.05.2019.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
