COMMUNITY HEALTH OFFICER (CHO)
Educational Qualification: General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) RNRM from a recognized Institute or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognized Institute/ University.
Experience: At least 01 year of relevant work experience in the health sector.
Desirable:
i) Proficiency in regional/ local language and dialect.
ii) Work experience in the public health system, preferably at the Primary/ Community Health Center level.
iii) Candidates who are graduates of INC recognized Institutes.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 15/05/2019.
Only eligible Staff Nurses (both Govt. Regular & NHM contractual) working at health facilities in all Districts of the State (Odisha) are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will initially undergo Six (06) months Bridge Programme on Certificate in Community Health for Nurses (BPCCHN) for the academic session July, 2019. The candidates who successfully complete the course will be posted as Community Health Officers (CHOs) at designated Sub Centers in the same districts where they are working at present. Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination. The Written Examination will be held in the month of June, 2019 at Bhubaneswar.
