CONSTABLE
No. of Vacancies: 1063 Nos. (Male- 720, Female- 213, Driver (Male)- 130)
Educational Qualification:
i) Passed 10+2 Standard.
ii) Candidate must have registration in any of the Employment Exchanges of Himachal Pradesh.
iii) Heavy Transport Driver License (for the post of Constable Driver only).
iv) Candidate must be Himachali bonafide.
v) Candidates who are appearing in 10+2 examination can also apply.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 23 years (minimum 20 years and maximum 25 years for Home Guards) as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.5910- 20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
The vacancies are in the Himachal Pradesh Police Department. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 02 years for SC/ST/OBC category. Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Examination, Personality Test and Medical Examination. The selection process will be conducted at all the districts of Himachal Pradesh.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.140/- (Rs.35/- for SC/ST/OBC/IRDP) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
