Educational Qualification: Candidate must hold Intermediate or its equivalent examination as on 01/07/2018.
In case of SC/ST candidates, as on 01/07/2018, he/she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate examinations in both the 1st year and 2nd year.

6. FIREMEN IN A.P FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES DEPARTMENT (MEN)
No. of Vacancies: 400 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must hold Intermediate or its equivalent examination as on 01/07/2018.
In case of SC/ST candidates, as on 01/07/2018, he/she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate examinations in both the 1st year and 2nd year.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and below 30 years as on 01/07/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.16,400-49,870/-
Note: The candidates who possess higher qualification will also be considered for the above posts.
The vacancies are in Police Department, Prisons and Correctional Services Department and Fire & Emergency Services Department.
The selected candidates will undergo Institutional Training.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and BC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards for the above posts are given below:
a) For posts at Sl. No. 1, 2, 3, & 6:
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 152.5 cms (150 cms for ST candidates); Weight — 40 kgs
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Preliminary Written Test, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Final Written Examination. The Preliminary Written Test will be held on 06/01/2019 from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm.
