1. CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATION IN THE SECRETARIAT OF PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, WEST BENGAL.
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree with Honours or Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% marks or equivalent.
Experience: Must have 03 years’ experience in the rank of Deputy Registrar or Deputy Controller of Examination or Assistant Professor of Indian University or Institute.
Desirable: Must have experience in handing of large scale examination related application software, OMR scanning and evaluation and preparation of results.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.28, 000/- – Rs.52, 000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 7, 600/-
2. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR (MOTOR TRANSPORT) IN THE DIRECTORATE OF TRANSPORTATION UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF FOOD AND SUPPLIES, GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL.
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: A degree in Automobile Engineering or a degree in Mechanical Engineering with Automobile Engineering or Internal Combustion Engine as a subject from a recognized Institution or equivalent qualifications.
Experience: Five years’ experience in Automobile Engineering in a Govt. Transport Undertaking or in a Private Motor Transport Organisation of repute.
Desirable: Administrative experience in management of personnel.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.15, 600/- – Rs.42, 000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 5, 400/-
The vacancies are in different departments. The candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis.
The post at Sl. No. 1 is Permanent in nature and the post at Sl. No. 2 is Temporary but likely to be Permanent.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. PWD candidates will get Age relaxation up to 45 years of age. Reserved Category candidates from the States other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Screening Test/ Written Test and Interview.
