Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), West Bengal Sector, Kolkata is recruiting 946 male and female candidates from West Bengal, Bihar, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand and Madhya Pradesh for the posts of – Constable (Technical ,Tradesmen) i.e. Driver, Fitter, Bugler , Tailor , Brass Band , Pipe Band, Cobbler , Carpenter , Gardener , Painter , Cook , Water Carrier , Safai Karmachari , Barber , Washer Men. Educational Qualification:
(i) For CT (Driver): Matriculation or equivalent and should possess “Transport Vehicle” driving license.
(ii) For CT (Fitter): Matriculation/equivalent with 02 years ITI Certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle OR Diploma in Automobile. Candidates shall have one year experience in the trade.
(iii) For rest of all Tradesmen: Matriculation/ equivalent pass and must be proficient in respective trades.

 

Age Limit: Between 18 years to 23 years as on 01-01-2015 for all posts except CT (Driver). For CT (Driver) the candidates should be between 21 to 27yrs. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ ST candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates. For Ex-serviceman—As per Govt. norms.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000/- plus other allowances as per norms.

 

Physical Standards of the candidates:
Male Candidates: Height—170cms; Chest (unexpanded/ expanded)—80cms/ 85cms; Weight—Correspondence to height and age as per medical standard.
Female Candidates: Height—157 cms; Chest—Not Applicable; Weight—As per medical standard.

Note: Cut-off in height and chest measurement for ST candidates and candidates from NE States is as Govt. norms (See the Advt./PDF for details)

 

The posts are purely temporary in nature but likely to continue. Candidates can apply for only one post (trade). Written/trade test will be conducted for the applied trade post.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format which can be downloaded from the official website of CRPF — www.crpf.gov.in (SEE PDF FILE BELOW)

The duly filled Application form must be enclosed with IPO/DD (Application Fee) and Self-Addressed envelopes. Do not enclose any other document or certificates with the Application form.
Send four self addressed envelopes of 4” x 9” size duly affixing postage stamps for Rs. 27/- on each.

 

Application Fee: Fee of Rs.50/- is required to be paid by means of crossed IPO/Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque drawn in favour of the Deputy Inspector General of Police of concerned application receiving centre(See PDF below for address list) by the male candidates belonging to General and OBC categories.
Candidates applying from WEST BENGAL may prepare the DD/IPO/Cheque in favour of – DIGP, GC, CRPF SILIGURI.

No Application Fee for SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen and all Female candidates.
