Qualification:
For Sr. Scientist: Ph.D in Chemistry with two years research/industrial experience in chemical processes.
For Scientist: PhD submitted in Organic/Physical/Applied Chemistry (Candidates must possess M.Sc degree in Chemistry with specialization in Organic/Physical Chemistry or M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry)
Desirable: Experience in organic synthesis/ catalysis.
2. Scientist/Sr. Scientist — 01 post (PWD(OH) OBC)

Qualification:
For Sr. Scientist: PhD in Inorganic/Analytical Chemistry with 2 years experience in analytical techniques.
For Scientist: PhD submitted in Inorganic/Analytical Chemistry (Candidates must possess M.Sc degree in Chemistry with specialization in Inorganic /Analytical Chemistry).
Desirable: Experience in instrumental analysis and material characterization.
3. Scientist/Sr. Scientist — 14 posts (UR-7; OBC-3; SC-2; ST-2)

For Sr. Scientist: Ph.D in Mining/ Mechanical/ Civil/ Electrical/Chemical Engineering with B.E/B.Tech in Mining/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/Civil Engineering.
For Scientist: M.E./M.Tech in Mining/Rock Mechanics/Mine Safety Engineering/Safety Engineering & Disaster Management/Chemical/Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering OR Ph.D submitted in Mining/Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/Chemical Engineering with B.E/B.Tech in Mining/ Mechanical/Electrical/ Chemical/ Civil Engineering.
Desirable: Experience in R&D or Teaching in Mathematical and Numerical Modelling/Mine Subsidence/Mine Ventilation/Energy Management & Safety/Mine Equipment Design/ Underground coal gasification/ Coal Bed Methane/Process Design or work experience in Mining or Fuel industry.
Age Limits:
For Scientist: Maximum 32 years as on 17/08/2015
For Sr. Scientist: Maximum 37 years as on 17/08/2015
Upper Age Relaxation: 05yrs for SC/ST, 03yrs for OBC and 10yrs for PWD
Pay Scales:
For Scientist: Rs.15600 – Rs.39100/- and Grade pay – Rs.6600/-
For Sr. Scientist: Rs.15600 – Rs.39100/- and Grade pay – Rs.7600/-
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview.
