Educational Qualification:
(i) For Scientist: M.E./M.Tech in Mining Engineering OR PhD submitted in Mining Engineering.
(ii) For Senior Scientist: M.E./M.Tech in Mining Engineering and 3 years Research or Industrial
experience in Mining Engineering OR PhD in Mining Engineering.
Desirable: B.E./B. Tech in Mining Engineering with experience in R&D or Teaching in Numerical Modelling/Mine Subsidence/ Mine Ventilation/ Underground coal gasification/ Coal Bed

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
