CSIR IMMT BHUBANESWAR INVITES APPLICATION FOR 26 SCIENTIST/ SR. SCIENTIST AND PRINCIPAL SCIENTIST. LAST DATE – 20/01/2015
1. Scientist/ Sr. Scientist: 24 Nos. (UR-12, SC-4,ST-4, OBC-3 & PH(HH)-1)
Qualification:
(i) For Scientist: First Class BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Engineering and M.E. / M.Tech. or equivalent in Metallurgy / Mineral / Mineral Resource Management/ Chemical / Ceramic / Material Resource Engineering OR Ph.D. in Geology/ Applied Geology / Ore Geology – submitted.
(ii) For Sr. Scientist: Ph.D. in Metallurgy / Mineral / Chemical/ Ceramic / Material Resource Engineering with 1st class B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Engineering. OR Ph.D. in Geology / Applied Geology / Ore Geology with 2 years relevant experience after Ph.D.
2. Principal Scientist/ Sr. Principal Scientist: 2 Nos (UR-1; OBC-1)
Qualification: Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering with 1st class B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Engineering having 3yrs relevant experience in case of Principal Scientist and 6yrs experience in case of Sr. Principal Scientist.
Age limit:
Maximum 32yrs for Scientist, 37yrs for Sr. Scientist, 45yrs for Principal Scientist and 50yrs for Sr. Principal Scientist, as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per norms.

Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application form for each post indicating the Code No. of the post with separate Demand Draft(s) for each application.
Application Fee: Rs.100/- in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank valid for a period of three months in favour of “Director, CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology” payable at the State Bank of India, RRL Campus Branch (Branch Code-7499), Bhubaneswar.
On the reverse side of D.D. candidates should write their Name, Category and Post Code applied for.
SC/ST, PH AND WOMEN CANDIDATES ARE EXEMPTED FOR APPLICATION FEE.
