1. Assistant (G) Gr.III: 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Class 12th passed or its equivalent with minimum typing speed on computer of 35wpm in English or 30wpm in Hindi.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
2. Assistant(S & P) Gr.III: 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Class 12th passed or its equivalent with minimum typing speed on computer of 35wpm in English or 30wpm in Hindi.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
3. Assistant (F & A) Gr.III: 03 Nos. (Gen-2 & OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Class 12th passed or its equivalent in Commerce with minimum typing speed on computer of 35wpm in English or 30wpm in Hindi.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
4. Jr. Stenographer: 03 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Class 12th passed or its equivalent with minimum speed of 80wpm in shorthand and 40wpm typing in English or 35wpm in Hindi.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2400/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
Age Limit (for all posts): Maximum 28 years as on the closing date of receipt of application. The upper age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years, OBC is 3 years and others as per govt. norms.
Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Typing Test and Interview. Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated in due course.

Upon successful submission of online application form the system generated registration slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out two copies of online application form, out of which one copy along with enclosures should be sent at the below given address.
Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- through Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Director, CSIR-NEIST Jorhat” Payable at Jorhat. Candidates must mention their Name, Category and Post Code Applied on the back side of Demand Draft.
No Fee for SC/ST/Women/PWD candidates.
