Challenging the CTET December 2024 Answer Key
CTET allows candidates to challenge the released answer keys if they believe there has been a mistake or discrepancy. This is a significant opportunity for candidates to raise concerns about any errors they may have identified in the answer key.
The procedure to challenge the answer key is simple:
- Visit the official website
- Log in using your credentials (Roll Number and Date of Birth).
- Navigate to the “Answer Key Challenge” section.
- Submit the challenge for specific questions that you believe are incorrect.

Fee for Challenging the CTET December 2024 Answer Key
To challenge any question, candidates must submit a fee of Rs. 1000 per question. This fee must be paid through a credit card or debit card.
- Non-Refundable Fee: Once the payment is made, it is non-refundable. However, if the challenge is accepted by the CTET Board (i.e., if the answer key is found to have an error), the fee will be refunded.
- Refund Process: In case a mistake is identified in the answer key and the challenge is upheld, the refund will be processed back to the credit/debit card account from which the payment was made. This ensures that only those who have paid the challenge fee will receive a refund.
It is essential to note that only the candidates’ own credit or debit cards should be used for payment, as refunds will be made to those cards.
What Happens After the Challenge Process?
Once the challenge submission window closes on 5th January 2025 at 11:59 PM, the CTET Board will review all the challenges raised by candidates. Based on the challenges, the board will take a final decision regarding the correctness of the answer keys. If any discrepancies are found, the CTET Board will issue a policy decision to address the issue, and candidates whose challenges are accepted will have their fees refunded.
- Final Decision: It is important to understand that the decision made by the CTET Board will be final. No further communication or challenges regarding the answer key will be entertained after the final decision has been made.

- Login: Use your Roll Number and Date of Birth to log in to the portal.
