Influenza A H3N2

• According to the World Health Organization (WHO), H3N2 is a variant of the common flu.
• Influenza A H3N2 and influenza B Victoria are two viral strains driving the current surge of flu cases in India.
• Cough, fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, sore throat, diarrhea, runny nose and continuous sneezing are common symptoms of H3N2 influenza. In severe cases, the patient may experience discomfort in the chest, difficulty in swallowing and continuous fever.
