DREDGER COMMANDER
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Certificate of Competency as Master Foreign Going holder with experience as Chief Officer for atleast 06 months.
OR
Certificate of Competency as Dredger Master Grade-I with 02 years experience on Dredgers.
OR
Certificate of Competency as Master NCV with 02 years experience on Dredgers.
OR
Officers who held the post of Lt.Commander/ Commander in the executive branch of the Indian Navy with atleast 07 years sea service.
Age Limit: Maximum 58 years as on 23/11/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.85,720/- for Master FG holders & Rs.73,350/- for others per month.
2. MARINE ENGINEER (CLASS-I)
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-02, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: MOT I Class Motor Certificate / Marine Engineer Officer Class I.
Experience: One year post qualification experience as Chief Engineer/ 2nd Engineer on board a foreign going Ship.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 23/11/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 29100-54500/-
The candidates selected for the post of Marine Engineer (Class-I) will be appointed on Regular basis and candidates for the post of Dredger Commander will be appointed on Contractual basis.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and/ or Interview.
