DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 24 Nos. (UR-15, OBC/MOBC-07, ST-02)
Educational Qualification:
i) Class VIII passed from a recognized Board/ Institution.
ii) The candidate must possess valid driving license for HMV (Heavy Motor Vehicles) from recognized authority (Assam State only).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000-49,000/- with Grade pay Rs. 5000/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 162.56 cm (160.02 cm for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 80 cm (78 cm for ST); Chest (expanded) — 85 cm (83 cm for ST)
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Test, Driving Test, Medical Test, Document Verification and Extra Curricular Activities.
