1. DEPUTY CHIEF FIRE OFFICER/A
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Passed SSC or equivalent examination with Physics & Chemistry plus passed the Divisional Officer’s Course from the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre.
OR
Graduate/ Associate Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers India/ London.
ii) Should have 06 years’ experience as Station Officer.
OR
i) B.E. in Fire Engineering.
ii) Should have 02 years’ experience as Station Officer.
Note:
i) Notwithstanding the above experience, the candidates without B.E. (Fire) degree must have 03 years of relevant experience after obtaining the requisite qualification.
ii) Experience in a post not below the rank of Station Officer in a well established whole time Fire Services organization is essential.
iii) Candidate should possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence and must be fully conversant with the operation and maintenance of fire engines, fire pumps and other fire fighting equipment.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 years as on 19/12/2018.
Basic Pay: Rs.56,100/- per month.
2. STATION OFFICER/A
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: i) SSC or equivalent plus should have Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License plus Certificate of Station Officer’s Course of the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre.
OR
Graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineering, India/ London.
ii) Should have 05 years’ experience as Sub Officer.
OR
B.E. in Fire Engineering. No experience is required.
Note:
i) Notwithstanding the above experience, the candidates must have 03 years of relevant experience after obtaining the requisite qualification.
ii) Experience should be in a well-established Fire Service Organisation.
iii) Candidates should be conversant with the operation and maintenance of Fire Engines, Fire Pumps and other firefighting equipment.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 years as on 19/12/2018.
Basic Pay: Rs.47,600/- per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Height — 165 cms; (ii) Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cms; (iii) Chest (expanded) — 86 cms; (iv) Weight — 50 Kgs
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Standatd Test, Physical Assessment & Command Test and Personal Interview wherever applicable.
