GROUP ‘C’ AGAINST CULTURAL QUOTA FOR 2017-18
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Classical Dance (Bharat Natyam): 01 post
ii) Instrumental Music- Guitar: 01 post
Educational Qualification: Passed 12th or its equivalent examination with not less that 50% marks in the aggregate (Not applicable for SC/ST candidates and for the candidates of any category possessing higher qualification).
Cultural Qualification: Degree/Diploma Certificate in respective discipline only from Govt. recognised University/ Institute.
Candidates having Cultural Qualifications can only apply.
Desirable: i) Experience in the field and performance given on All India Radio/ Doordarshan etc. and ii) Awards/Prizes won at National Level.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-28 years as on 01.01.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.5,200 – 20,200 and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Performance Test and Testimonials/Prizes etc.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.250/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of FA & CAO, Eastern Railway Kolkata, payable at GPO, Kolkata. Candidates must write their name, full address at the space provided in the IPO.
