Education Department – Chandigarh Administration is inviting online application form for total 1140 vacancies in the posts of – Jr. Basic Teachers, Nursery Teachers and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) (Masters/Mistresses). 1. Junior Basic Teachers (JBT): 489 Nos.

Educational Qualification:
(i) For Jr. Basic Teacher: Graduate or its equivalent with 40% marks in aggregate and atlest 50% marks at 10+2 level. AND Diploma in Basic Teacher Training (2yrs course) with minimum 50% marks OR JBT Certificate/Diploma of 2yrs duration course with atleast 50% marks, recognized by Chandigarh Administration.
(ii) For Nursery Teacher: Senior Secondary (10+2) or intermediate or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate and Diploma/ Certificate in NTT or its equivalent of not less than 2yrs duration with atleast 50% marks
(iii) Master/ Mistresses: Graduate in with minimum 50% marks in respective discipline or equivalent (Please see the link below for complete details) AND Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the CBSE.
Age Limit:
(i) For JBT: 21—30yrs
(ii) For Nursery Teacher: 18—27yrs
(iii) For Masters/Mistresses (TGT): maximum 30 years
Age will be counted as on 01-01-204. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; Widow/Divorced women/legally separated women – 05yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Application Fee (For all posts): Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC candidates). Fee is to be paid through online mode using Debit/Credit card or Net banking during submission of online Application form. See link below for more details.

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies out of which one copy along with testimonials is to be produced during verification, when called. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE.
