1. DIPLOMA ENGINEER TRAINEE (ELECTRICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 16 Nos. (UT-10, SC-02, ST-02, SEBC-02)
Educational Qualification: Full time Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering from recognized University/ Institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (50% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates).

2. DIPLOMA ENGINEER TRAINEE (CIVIL)

Desirable: Additional qualification such as Degree in Law/ CA/ ICWA.

14. MANAGEMENT TRAINEE (ENVIRONMENT)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Environment Engineering/ Management/ B.Sc in Environmental Science/ Degree in Civil Engineering with Degree/ Diploma in Environmental Science or B.Sc with PG Diploma in Environmental Science, with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (50% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 01/10/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.56,100- 1,77,500/-

 

Note (For all the above posts):
The candidate must be able to read, write and speak Odia fluently, and must have-
a) Passed Middle School examination with Odia as a language subject, or
b) Passed HSC or equivalent examination with Odia as a medium of examination in non-language subject, or
c) Passed in Odia as Language subject in the final examination of Class VII from a school or educational institution recognized by the Govt. of Odisha or the Central Govt., or
d) Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department of Govt. of Odisha.

On selection, the candidates will be posted at any of the Units/ Project sites/ Subsidiaries/ Offices of Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited (OHPCL).

The selected candidates will undergo Training for a period of One year. During the training period, candidates will be paid monthly Stipend of Rs.22,500/- for Diploma Engineer Trainees and Rs.28,000/- for Graduate Engineer Trainees & Management Trainees.
On successful completion of training, the candidates will be appointed in the respective cadre in Probation for a period of One year.

Reserved Category candidates from the states other than Odisha shall be treated as General Candidates.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/SEBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Test (CBT) and Personal Interview. The Computer Based Test (CBT) and Personal Interview will be held at Bhubaneswar. The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held tentatively in Mid-week of December, 2018.
