ESIC Medical College PGIMSR & Model Hospital, Rajaji Nagar, Bangalore proposes to fill up the posts of Medical Teaching Faculty – Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor in the disciplines mentioned below on a contract basis through walk-in interviews from 24.01.2023 & 25.01.2023 (On 24.01.2023 Professor and Associate Professor and on 25.01.2023 – Asst. ENGAGEMENT OF PROFESSOR, ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, AND ASSISTANT PROFESSOR FOR
ESIC MEDICAL COLLEGE & PGIMSR AND MEDICAL COLLEGE, RAJAJINAGAR, BANGALORE (ON
CONTRACTUAL BASIS FOR A PERIOD OF THREE YEARS)
(INCLUDING RETIRED ARMY MEDICAL TEACHERS)

Age Limit:
- Not exceeding 67 years as of the date of reporting for interview.
Pay & Allowances – (Other than retired Army Medical Teachers):
- Professor Rs. 2,22,543/- (Consolidated Remuneration +DA on TA)
- Associate Professor Rs. 1,47,986/- (Consolidated Remuneration +DA on TA)
- Assistant Professor Rs. 1,27,141/- (Consolidated Remuneration +DA on TA)
Selection Procedure:
- The selection will be made on the basis of the performance of the candidate in an interview before the Selection Board.
- The result will be communicated through e-mail and will be displayed on the website.
- Selected candidates will have to join immediately after receipt of the Offer of Appointment.
- Upon selection of the candidate who fails to report on or before the stipulated last date of joining, his/her appointment stands canceled and the next eligible candidate will be automatically deemed selected.
- The candidates who have been recognized as “PG Guide”/eligible for “PG Guide” as per the guidelines of Affiliating University/NMC will be given preference for the Walk-In-Interview for the post of Associate Professor as scheduled in the said Recruitment Notification. The candidates, who have already been recognized as PG guide, shall produce a copy of the PG guide recognition letter issued from the Affiliating University/NMC at the time of the Interview.
- If the selected candidates fail to report for duty within the stipulated date of joining, the next eligible candidates will be considered for the post from the waiting list.

- Selected Candidates should produce all the original documents in respect of all the parameters at the time of Reporting for duty.
- Shortlisted candidates who fail to produce documents or provide false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to barring the candidate from the Interview and shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
