HIMACHAL PRADESH SUBORDINATE ALLIED SERVICES/ POSTS (CLASS-III, NON GAZETTED) EXAMINATION- 2018
Educational Qualification: Must hold a Bachelor degree of any recognized University/ Institution or possesses an equivalent qualification.
Note: Candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications, which are recognized by the State Government as equivalent to professional or technical degree, are also be eligible to apply.
Desirable: Knowledge of Customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years as on 01/01/2018.
NAME OF THE POSTS, VACANCIES & PAY SCALE ARE GIVEN BELOW:
1. Excise & Taxation Inspector (Regular basis)
Total vacancies: 10 posts (Gen-06, SC-01, OBC-03)
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 3600/-
2. Inspector (Audit) Cooperative Societies (Contract basis)
Total vacancies: 04 posts (OBC-02, SC-01, ST-01)
Consolidated Pay: Rs.16600/- per month.
3. Election Kanungo (Contract basis)
Total vacancies: 06 posts (Gen-04, SC-02)
Consolidated Pay: Rs.11910/- per month.
On the basis of the result of Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Allied Services/ Posts (Class-III, Non Gazetted) Examination- 2018, candidates will be appointed to the posts.
Reserved Category candidates from the States other than Himachal Pradesh shall be treated as General Candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/OBC/WFF/PWD candidates of Himachal Pradesh. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Preliminary Examination and Main Written Examination. The examination will be conducted at various centers located at Shimla/ Mandi/ Sundernagar/ Kangra/ Dharamshala/ Palampur/ Solan/ Una/ Nahan/ Bilaspur/ Kullu, Hamirpur and Chamba.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.400/- (Rs.100/- for Gen/SC/ST/OBC BPL and SC/ST/OBC/PWD of Himachal Pradesh) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF EX-SERVICEMEN OF H.P.
