1. GRADUATE APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 40 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Electrical & Electronics Engineering: 04 posts
ii) Mechanical Engineering: 10 posts
iii) Chemical Engineering: 10 posts
iv) Civil Engineering: 05 posts
v) Instrumentation & Control Engineering: 02 posts
vi) Environmental & Pollution Engineering: 03 posts
vii) Computer Engineering: 01 post
viii) Computer Science & Engineering: 04 posts
ix) Electrical Engineering: 01 post
Educational Qualification: i) A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a recognized University/ Institution in relevant discipline.
ii) Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.4984/- per month.
2. TECHNICIAN (DIPLOMA) APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 50 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Electrical Engineering: 05 posts
ii) Mechanical Engineering: 20 posts
iii) Chemical Engineering: 10 posts
iv) Civil Engineering: 05 posts
v) Instrumentation & Control Engineering: 02 posts

Educational Qualification: A Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education/ University/ Institution in relevant discipline.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.3542/- per month.
The candidates will undergo One year Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.
Note:-
i) Only candidates hailing from Tamilnadu state are eligible to apply.
ii) Candidates should have passed their Graduate/ Diploma in Engineering during the year 2016, 2017 & 2018.
iii) Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973, and/ or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the Educational Qualification and Certificate Verification. The candidates have to appear for Certificate Verification at Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR), Chennai on 23/05/2019.

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
