1. GRADUATE APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 90 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Production Engineering: 40 posts
ii) Aeronautical/ AeroSpace Engineering: 20 posts
iii) Elect & Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation/ Telecom Engineering: 12 posts
iv) Computer Science / Computer Engg./ Information Science & Technology Engineering: 14 posts
v) Metallurgy/ Material science: 03 posts
vi) Civil: 01 post
Educational Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech./ equivalent degree in respective discipline from a recognized University/ Institution.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 14.09.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.4984/- per month.
2. DIPLOMA APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 30 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical/ Production/ Tool & Die design: 20 posts
ii) Electrical& Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation: 05 posts
iii) Computer Science / Engg: 05 posts
Educational Qualification: Diploma in engineering or technology in respective discipline from a recognized University/ Institution.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 14.09.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.3542/- per month.
3. ITI APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 30 Nos.
Trade wise vacancies:
i) Machinist: 04 posts
ii) Fitter: 04 posts
iii) Turner: 04 posts
iv) Electrician: 02 posts
v) Welder: 02 posts
vi) Sheet Metal worker: 02 posts
vii) Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA): 10 posts
viii) Mechanic Motor Vehicle/ Diesel Mechanic: 02 posts
Educational Qualification: Two years Vocational Course in respective trade.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 14.09.2018.
For BE/ B.Tech/ Diploma apprentice trainees, candidates who have passed in the year 2016/ 2017/ 2018 are only eligible to apply. Candidates with post graduate qualification are not eligible to apply.
Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or at present undergoing apprenticeship training under any organisation are not eligible to apply for the apprenticeship training. Candidates with more than one year work experience are not eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in Qualifying Exam and Written Test/ Interview. The Written Test/ Interview will be conducted from 25/09/2018 to 11/10/2018. The Written Test/ Interview may be conducted at Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), Bengaluru.
