1. GRADUATE APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 100 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Electrical & Electronics Engineering: 30 posts
ii) Mechanical Engineering: 70 posts
Educational Qualification: i) Degree in Engineering or Technology in relevant discipline from recognized University/ Institution.
ii) Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.4984/- per month.
2. TECHNICIAN (DIPLOMA) APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 120 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Electrical & Electronics Engineering: 40 posts
ii) Mechanical Engineering: 80 posts
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or Technology in relevant discipline from recognized State Council/ Board of Technical Education/ University/ Institution.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.3542/- per month.
The candidates will undergo One year Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.
Candidates should have passed their Diploma/ Degree during the year 2016/ 2017 & 2018.
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, and/ or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in the Academic Qualification and Certificate Verification. The candidates have to appear for Certificate Verification at Chennai on 20/02/2019.

Before applying Online, the candidates who have not so far register themselves in the Govt. web portal should register themselves as Apprentices in the Govt. web portal- www.mhrdnats.gov.in
Note: Candidates who have already enrolled in Govt. web portal can be able to apply Online after verification of enrollment by BOAT (SR).
Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
