1. GROUP ‘C’ POSTS
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (Headquarter Office) (01 post from Scouts & 01 post from Guides)
Educational Qualification: 12th pass with 50% marks from recognized Board or its equivalent or higher education.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2020.
Basic Pay: Rs.19900/- per month.
2. ERSTWHILE GROUP ‘D’ POSTS
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos. (Dhanbad- 02, Danapur- 02, Mughalsarai-02, Sonpur-02 & Samastipur-02) (01 post from Scouts & 01 post from Guides)
Educational Qualification: 10th pass from recognized Board OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years as on 01/01/2020.
Basic Pay: Rs.18000/- per month.
SCOUTS & GUIDES QUALIFICATION:
i) A President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge Holder in any section.
ii) Should have been an active member of a Scouts organization for the last 05 years.
iii) Should have attended two events at National Level OR All Indian Railways’ Level and two events at State Level.
The vacancies are for Headquarter Office and Divisions (i.e Dhanbad, Danapur, Mughalsarai, Sonpur & Samastipur) of East Central Railway under Scout & Guide Quota for the year 2019-20.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Marks on Certificates.
