1. LAUNCH MECHANIC LEVEL- IV
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard pass or ITI equivalent.
Experience: Five years Service on sea going vessel with one year independent charge of Engine and auxiliary Machinery.
Desirable: i) Certificate of competency for inland Driver Class -II.
ii) Certificate of Service.
iii) Matriculation or equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 12.10.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 25500- 81100/-
2. SEAMAN LEVEL- I
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos. (UR-06, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard pass or equivalent.
Experience: Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessel with two years in helmsman and seamanship work.
Desirable: Certificate of competency as “Mate of fishing vessel” issued by Marine Mercantile Department.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 12.10.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 18000- 56900/-
3. GREASER LEVEL- I
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos. (UR-03, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard pass or equivalent.
Experience: Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessel on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance.
Desirable: Certificate of competency as “Engine Driver” of fishing vessel issued by Marine Mercantile Department.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 12.10.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 18000- 56900/-
4. SENIOR DECK HAND LEVEL- III
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard pass or equivalent.
Experience: Five years Service on sea going vessel with two years in helmsman and seamanship work.
Desirable: i) Certificate of fishery training School.
ii) Matriculation or equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 12.10.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.21,700- 69,100/-
The vacancies are in Marine Wing of Custom House, Visakhapatnam.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Proficiency Test. Written Examination will be conducted on 20/01/2019 at Visakhapatnam.
