Rail Wheel Factory, Bangalore is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 10 posts of Sports Persons for Group ‘C’ posts in Level- 1. RAIL WHEEL FACTORY, BANGALORE IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 10 POSTS OF SPORTS PERSONS FOR GROUP ‘C’ POSTS IN LEVEL- 1. LAST DATE — 23/02/2019

 

1. SPORTS PERSONS FOR GROUP ‘C’ POSTS IN LEVEL- 1
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos.

Sports wise vacancies:

i) Cricket (Men): 03 posts
ii) Hockey (Men): 03 posts
iii) Football (Men): 02 posts
iv) Kabaddi (Men): 02 posts

 

Educational Qualification: i) 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).
OR
10th pass plus ITI for recruitment in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and S&T.

ii) 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) for recruitment in other than Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and S&T.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2019.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

 

Sports Qualification:
i) Represented the Country in any of the following:

a) Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior Category),
b) Asian Championships/ Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category),
c) South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category),
d) USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category).

OR
ii) Atleast 3rd position in the Federation Cup Championship (Senior category).
OR
iii) Represented a State of equivalent Unit, in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships.
OR
iv) At least 3rd position in Senior State Championships for all Units and Districts of the State.

Note: The candidates should be active players and should have acquired the above sports achievements on or after 01/04/2016.

The vacancies are against Sports Quota- Open Advertisement for the year 2018-19.

Candidates who are appearing for final examination or awaiting results of final examination are not eligible to apply.

The selected candidates will be on Probation for a period of two years.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Trials and Interview. The Trials are scheduled to be held from 18/03/2019 to 22/03/2019 at Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen, Minorities and EBC) as Examination Fee.
