Recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota in South Western Railway & Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka. INDIAN RAILWAYS- SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAY (SWR) IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 11 GROUP ‘C’ (LEVEL- 1/ LEVEL- 2) POSTS. LAST DATE — 28/01/2019

 

1. GROUP ‘C’ (LEVEL- 2)
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (SWR-02, Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka-01)
Educational Qualification: Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (50% marks are not required for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen and candidates possessing higher qualification like Graduation/ Post Graduation).
OR
Passed Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ ITI approved by NCVT/ SCVT for the posts in Technical categories.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

 

2. GROUP ‘C’ (LEVEL- 1)
No. of Vacancies: 08 Nos. (Hubballi division-02, Bengaluru division-02, Mysuru division-02, Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka-02)
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR 10th Standard pass plus ITI.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

 

SCOUTS & GUIDES QUALIFICATION:

i) A President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
ii) Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organization for the last 05 years.
iii) Should have attended two events at National level OR All Indian Railways’ level and two events at State level.

The vacancies are for recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota in South Western Railway & Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Certificate Verification.

Fee can be paid through Crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Asst. Personnel Officer/ HQ, South Western Railway, Hubballi, payable at Hubballi.
