GROUP D POSTS (FARASH/ PEONS/ ORDERLY/ BARKANDAZ/ DARWAN/ NIGHT GUARD/ CLEANER)
No. of Vacancies: 221 Nos. (UR-118, SC-49, ST-16, OBC-38)
Educational Qualification:
i) Must have passed Class VIII.
ii) Must have knowledge of reading and writing Bengali and English.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 4900-16,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1700/-
Note: Graduate candidates are not be eligible to apply.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/PWD and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview. Tentative date of conducting Written Examination is 25/11/2018.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.400/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST candidates of West Bengal) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Calcutta High Court. See released advertisement for more details.
NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF CANDIDATES BELONGING TO EXEMPTED CATEGORIES AND EX-SERVICEMAN CANDIDATES.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Calcutta High Court — www.calcuttahighcourt.gov.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 28/09/2018 to 29/10/2018.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
