The candidates who qualify the Gujarat State Eligibility Test will be appointed as Assistant Professor in different subjects. GUJARAT STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/ institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Sciences with at least 55% marks (50% marks for OBC/ SC/ ST/ PH/ VH candidate)
Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing in the final year / semester at the qualifying Master’s degree examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for GSET Examination.
The candidates of other States, i.e. other than Gujarat State, belonging to reserved category shall be treated as General category candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: GSET will consist of three papers, all three papers will appear both in Gujarati and English versions.
The Examination centre will be held at Vadodara, Ahemdabad, Rajkot, Surat, Patan, Bhavnagar on 27.08.2017.
The candidates who qualify the Gujarat State Eligibility Test will be appointed as Assistant Professor in different subjects.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.800/- for UR/ OBC (Rs.700/- for SC/ ST/ PH/ VH) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan. How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website — www.gujaratset.ac.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 29.04.2017 to 08.06.2017
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
