ii) Team event (National): The team of sportsperson who have won any medal in National Games/ National Championships Both (Junior & Senior), All India Inter University or any recognized sports meet of National repute conducted under the aegis of respective Federation / Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports or conducted by the Indian Olympic Association during last three years.
iii) Individual / Team event (International): Sportsperson of merit who have represented the Country in any International repute Championship conducted under the aegis of respective Federation/ Association during last three years.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 23 years as on 13/01/2019.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.
Sports Qualification: i) Sportsperson of merit who have represented a State or the Country in any recognized National repute Games/ National Championship Both (Junior & Senior) All India Inter University or International repute Championship conducted under the aegis of respective Federation/ Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports or conducted by the Indian Olympic Association during last three years.
ii) Sportsperson of merit who have represented their University in All India Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) during last three years.
iii) Sportspersons of merit who have represented State School Team in National School Games conducted by School Games Federation of India (SGFI) during last three years.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 23 years as on 13/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 21700-69100/-

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for SC/ST and 08 years for OBC category. Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cm (162.5 cm for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 80 cm (76 cm for ST); Chest (expanded) — 85 cm (81 cm for ST)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 cm (150 cm for ST candidates)
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Standard Test, Trail, Physically Efficiency Test and Medical Examination.
Preferences will be given to those candidates who have won medals for the country in the recognized current International sports competitions or have won Gold/ Silver/ Bronze medals in Senior National Championships/ National Games during the year 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18.
