1. HEAD CONSTABLE (MINISTERIAL)
No. of Vacancies: 429 Nos. (UR-222, OBC-114, SC-63, ST-30) (Male-328, Female-37, LDCE-64)
Educational Qualification:
i) Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board/ University or equivalent.
ii) English typing with minimum speed of 35 WPM or Hindi typing with minimum speed of 30 WPM on Computer.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 20/02/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
The posts are Temporary but likely to become Permanent. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will undergo basic Training in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Regional Training Centres. The candidates will be on Probation for a period of two years.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 165 cms (162.5 cms for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cms (76 cms for ST); Chest (expanded) — 82 cms (81 cms for ST)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 155 cms (150 cms for ST candidates)
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Height Bar Test (HBT), Physical Standard Test (PST), Documentation, Written Test, Skill Test and Medical Examination.
