ATTENDANT-II TRAINEE

1. VHSE

No. of Vacancies: 20 Nos. (UR-14, OBC-05, SC-01)

Educational Qualification: Candidates with Certificate in Vocational Higher Secondary Education with 60% marks (55% marks for SC) in the final examination in any one of the following trades — i) Agro Machinery and Power Engineering, (ii) Automobile Technology, (iii) Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum- 25 years as on 30/09/2016

Pay Scale: Rs.7700/- Rs.17200/-

 

2. FIREMAN

No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos. (UR-02, OBC-01, SC-01)

Educational Qualification: SSLC with minimum four to six months training in Fire Fighting.

Candidates should possess sound physique and physical stamina to work in shift duties and Fire  Fighting work.

Candidate should possess valid Indian Heavy Duty Driving License.

Knowledge in Malayalam is desirable.

Experience: Minimum one year experience.

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum- 25 years as on 30/09/2016

Pay Scale: Rs.7700/- Rs.17200/-

 

 

ATTENDANT-I TRAINEE

3. ITI (FITTER / ELECTRICIAN / INSTRUMENT MECHANIC)

No. of Vacancies: 21 Nos. (UR-15, OBC-05, SC-01)

Educational Qualification: Class Tenth passed (X STD) and National Trade Certificate (NTC/ ITI) in the trade of Fitter/Electrician/Instrument Mechanic with 60% marks (55% marks for SC, ST) and should possess post qualification National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in their respective trade.

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum- 25 years as on 30/09/2016

Pay Scale: Rs.7900/- Rs.18100/-

 

4. BOILER ATTENDANT

No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos. (UR-03, OBC-01, SC-01)

Educational Qualification: Class Tenth passed (X STD) and National Trade Certificate (NTC/ ITI) in the trade of Fitter and post qualification National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the trade of Boiler Attendant with 60% marks (55% marks for SC, ST)

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum- 25 years as on 30/09/2016

Pay Scale: Rs.7900/- Rs.18100/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.

 

Physical Standards (For Fireman only):

(i) Male Candidates: Height — 165; Chest (unexpanded) — 81.5cm; Chest (expanded) — 85 cm; Weight — 50kgs

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selected candidates will be on job training for one and a half year (18 months). During the training period, they will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.8000/-p.m (for VHSE and Fireman) and Rs.10,000/-p.m. for ITI (Fitter / Electrician / Instrument Mechanic / Boiler Attendant).
