ICAR CENTRAL RICE RESEARCH INSTITUTE INVITES APPLICATION FOR 22 POSTS OF TECHNICIAN IN DIFFERENT TRADES/DISCIPLINE. LAST DATE — 20/07/2015.
Name of the Post: Technician.
Total No. of Vacancies: 22 Nos.
Trade/Discipline wise vacancies are as follows—
(i) Technician (Electrician): 01 Nos. (SC)
(ii) Technician (Mechanic): 01 Nos. (SC)
(iii) Technician (Field): 15 Nos. (Gen—02; OBC—05 & ST—08)
(iv ) Technician (Laboratory): 02 Nos. (ST—1 & PWD—01)
(v) Technician (Fitter): 02 Nos. (Gen)
(vi) Technician (Draftsman/Civil): 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification (For all trades/discipline): Matriculation with at least 1 year certificate in the respective trade.
For the posts of Technician (Field) and Technician (Laboratory): — Matriculation with at least 1 year certificate in the relevant field i.e. Crop Production/ Horticulture/ Live Stock/ Post Harvest/ Crop Protection/ Agronomy/Fitter trade or any other relevant field in agriculture.
Age Limit (for all posts): Minimum 18 years to Maximum 30 years as on closing date for receipt of applications. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; and Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Pay Scale (for all posts): Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2000/- per month.
Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Trade Test and Personal Interview. Exact Date, Time and Venue for counseling will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (See PDF file below) along with two passport size photographs and self attested testimonials in support of Educational Qualification certificates, Caste certificate, Age proof, Experience certificate (wherever applicable) and Etc.
Application Fee: Rs.100/- is to be paid in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour – “ICAR Unit: CRRI” and payable at – Cuttack.
The name of the candidate, father’s name and the post applied for should be mentioned on the backside of the Demand Draft.
No Fee for SC/ST; PWD; Ex-Serviceman and Women candidates.
Note: Those who had applied in response to earlier Advertisement No.16/2010 and had submitted application fee of Rs.50/- by Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order are required to mention the details of Bank, D.D.No., date, place/ Post Office, IPO No., dated, place, Sl.No. of the post and name of the post applied. Only such cases will be considered for exemption from payment of application fee of Rs.50/- and rest application fee of amount Rs.50/- must be submitted by Demand Draft in the above manner.
