Income Tax Department, Delhi Region is inviting application from the eligible Meritorious Sportsperson for 58 posts of Income Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant, Stenographer Grade II and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS). Selected candidates will be on probation period of two years. 1. INCOME TAX INSPECTORS
No. of Vacancies: 09 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 10.06.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9,300 – Rs.34,8004 and Grade Pay Rs.4,600/-
2. TAX ASSISTANTS
No. of Vacancies: 19 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
ii) Having data entry speed of 8,000 Key depressions per hour.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 10.06.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5,200 – Rs.20,200 and Grade Pay of Rs.2,400/-
3. STENOGRAPHER GRADE II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board or University.
ii) Candidates must have ability to take the dictation of 80wpm in 10min and transcription of 50wpm in English and 65 wpm in Hindi on Computer only.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 10.06.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5,200 – Rs.20,200 and Grade Pay Rs.2,400/-
4. MULTI TASKING STAFF
No. of Vacancies: 29 Nos.
Educational Qualification: 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board or University.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 10.06.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5,200 – Rs.20,200 and Grade Pay Rs.1,800/-

Candidates should have played/participated in –
(i) International Tournaments/Events like Olympics & World Championships.
(ii) International Tournaments/Events of regional importance like Asian Games/Commonwealth Games/Afro Asian Games etc.
(iii) Other International Tournaments/Events like SAF Games etc.
(iv) Domestic Tournaments/Events of national seniors level like, National Games, National Federation Games etc.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Ground/Proficiency Test and Interview for Tax Assistants.
