Indian Air Force (IAF) is recruiting eligible candidates for the posts of Airmen in Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) (Automobile Technician (Auto Tech) and Indian Air Force (Police) (IAF(P)) Trades for Intake: 01/2020. INDIAN AIR FORCE (IAF) WILL CONDUCT RECRUITMENT RALLY FOR THE POSTS OF AIRMEN IN GROUP ‘Y’ (NON-TECHNICAL) (AUTOMOBILE TECHNICIAN (AUTO TECH) AND INDIAN AIR FORCE (POLICE) (IAF(P)) TRADES FOR INTAKE: 01/2020. RALLY ON — From 26/02/2019 to 03/03/2019

 

AIRMEN IN GROUP ‘Y’ (NON-TECHNICAL) (AUTOMOBILE TECHNICIAN (AUTO TECH) AND INDIAN AIR FORCE (POLICE) (IAF(P)) TRADES FOR INTAKE: 01/2020

Educational Qualification: Should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Class XII or Equivalent Examination in any stream/ subjects approved by Central/ State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English in Class XII or equivalent examination.

 

Age Limit: Born between 19/01/1999 and 01/01/2003.

 

Pay: Rs. 26,900/- per month.

 

NOTE:

Only Unmarried Male candidates of the State West Bengal (District – Hooghly, East Midnapur, Jhargram, Purulia, West Burdhwan, Mursidabad, Malda, North Dinajpur, South Dinajpur, Darjeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar & Cooch Behar) and Sikkim are eligible to appear for the Rally.

The selected candidates will initially undergo Joint Basic Phase Training (JBPT) at Basic Training Institute, Belagavi (Karnataka). On successful completion of Joint Basic Phase Training (JBPT), candidates will be allocated trades and sent for trade related training of specified duration. During the training period, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month will be paid to the candidates.

 

Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 165 cm (162.5 cm for NE & Hill States) for Auto Tech & 175 cm (including NE & Hill States) for IAF(P); Chest — Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm.; Weight — Proportionate to height and age.
Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Written Test and Adaptability Test.
