INDIAN ARMY, GORKHA RECRUITING DEPOT INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR THE POSTS OF SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY (INDIAN DOMICILED GORKHAS). LAST DATE — 09/06/2019
SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY (INDIAN DOMICILED GORKHAS)
Educational Qualification:
i) SSLC/ Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
ii) No aggregate percentage required for higher qualification i.e 10+2 and above however minimum 33% in each subject required.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1998 to 01/04/2002.
Army Recruitment Rally for the post will be held from 17th June, 2019 to 18th June, 2019 at the Ghoom Army Ground.
NOTE: Candidates of Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts are only eligible to apply.
Physical Standards:
(i) Height — 157 cms; (ii) Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cms; (iii) Chest (expanded) — 82 cms; (iv) Weight — 48 kgs.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Note: Relaxation in Physical Standards will be as per Govt. norms. For more details please see the Official Advt.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test.
