INDIAN ARMY INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT RALLY FOR THE POSTS OF SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY, SOLDIER TECHNICAL, SOLDIER TECHNICAL (AVIATION/ AMMUNITION EXAMINER), SOLDIER NURSING ASSISTANT/ NURSING ASSISTANT VETERINARY, SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL/ INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND SOLDIER TRADESMAN. 1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: Class 10th pass with minimum 45% aggregate marks and 33% in each subject.
No aggregate percentage required for higher qualification. However, minimum 33% in each subject in class 10th is mandatory.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1997 to 01/04/2001.

 

2. SOLDIER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1995 to 01/04/2001.

 

3. SOLDIER TECHNICAL (AVIATION/ AMMUNITION EXAMINER)
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
OR
Three years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Electronics & Instrumentation).
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1995 to 01/04/2001.

 

4. SOLDIER NURSING ASSISTANT/ NURSING ASSISTANT VETERINARY
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
OR
In case the candidate has a B.Sc Degree with Botany/ Zoology/ Bio-Science and English, the requirement of percentage in Class 12th is not required. However, the candidate should have studied all the four specified subjects in Class 12th also.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1995 to 01/04/2001.

 

5. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL/ INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce or Science) with 60% marks in aggregate minimum 50% in each subject.
ii) Should have studied and passed English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class X or Class XII with minimum 50% marks in each subject.
Note: Even if a candidate is a Graduate or has a higher qualification, percentage of marks in 12th Class would be applicable.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1995 to 01/04/2001.

 

6. SOLDIER TRADESMAN
Educational Qualification: 10th/ ITI (except Syce, Mess Keeper and House Keeper, who may be 8th calss pass).
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1995 to 01/04/2001.

 

Only Unmarried Male candidates of 24 Parganas (North), Hooghly, Bankura and Purulia districts of West Bengal are eligible to apply.

Indian Army Recruitment Rally will be from 12/11/2018 to 18/11/2018 at RCTC Ground, Barrackpore.

 

 

Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 169 Cm (162 Cm for Sl. No. 5); Chest (unexpanded) — 77 Cm (76 cm for Sl. No. 6); Chest (expanded) — 82 Cm (81 Cm for Sl. No. 6); Weight — 50 Kgs (48 Kgs for Sl. No. 6)
(ii) For ST Candidates: Height — 162 Cm; Chest — 77 Cm; Chest (expanded) — 82 Cm; Weight — 48 Kgs

Cut-off in Physical Standards: For Wards of Servicemen/ Ex-servicemen and Sportsmen, the relaxation in Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Standard Test, Medical Examination and Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
